Amino acids, including the BCAA are the "building blocks anabolic" needed to build strong and hard muscles. Amino acids in contrast to proteins which do not require complex products of digestion that can be utilized by the body. After consumption amino acids can be absorbed from the intestinal lumen into the bloodstream and then directly supplied to the working muscles, which reduces time and energy expenditure already loaded workout. BCAA is best to take around one hour before and a quarter after training.
